Requirements for getting married in Belize:
- Both parties must be in Belize at least
three days before applying for a marriage
license; arrival day is considered 'first day'.
- Proof of Marital status, if widowed or divorced; original document or certified copy.
- Valid Passport
- The Belize Attorney General office issues the marriage license, and this is normally approved the same day of the request.
