About Kanantik
Kanantik Reef & Jungle Resort is a rare model and an impressive example of low impact and sustainable development. With over 300 acres of untouched land and pristine, wildlife-rich tropical forest, Kanantik was conceived and built with one ultimate goal: maintaining our surrounding tropical beauty intact. While Kanantik’s 300 acres remain pristine, we are surrounded by thousands of acres of uninhabited and undeveloped land, where nature reigns supreme. Wildlife is free to follow the same natural corridors they have enjoyed for thousands of years. A rich variety of birds and animals call this area of Belize home, including the secluded and mysterious Jaguar. And these animals and birds can be spotted here, at our resort, all year round. We do not ‘stage’ our wildlife viewings – all sightings of native wildlife are natural and are on the animals’ terms. We are very lucky and fortunate to be located near such amazing natural beauty, and our guests truly feel honored that they can become witness to nature’s majesty.
The co-owner of Kanantik Resort is Roberto Fabbri, an experienced wildlife photographer. The photographs on this website are taken by Roberto, who also has a very impressive dedicated wildlife photography website: www.robertofabbri-wildlife.com.
